Our "People Principles"
Cool tools and the latest technology. Those are the things that get our motors running at work. Others in the same field would like you to think they eat, drink and sleep high technology. 24/7/365. They've even launched witty ad campaigns with actors and actresses doodling network maps and JavaScript on paper napkins at their kid's birthday party. We love our work, but we also recognize the value of a well-balanced professional and personal life.
Creative: Good.
Hard Working: Good.
Dedicated: Good.
One-Dimensional: Bad.
We all work better when we're happier, and that often means a well-balanced life. Some of us find crafting a web site relaxing, and most of us find our souls renewed when we can disconnect for a while. That may mean casting a line into a fast-flowing trout stream, or turning a wrench on a classic car. The point -- being multi-dimensional people makes us better partners to our Clients. We work better and turn out an excellent product.
It's also no secret that good planning at the beginning of a project and solid communication throughout makes for an on-time, on-budget conclusion. You know-- measure twice, and cut once. And doing it right the first time means less time spent doing it over, which leaves more time to add balance to our lives.
Our work edict is simple:
- Explore. Ask questions and learn about our Clients, their users and their business.
- Identify challenges our Clients face and turn them into opportunities.
- Create a vision for a solution, then build it.
- Partner with our Clients to uncover new opportunities and be constantly vigilant for new solutions.
In following this very simple practice of balancing work and relaxation, sticking to our proven development processes and working with Clients in an open environment, we're assured of delivering a quality product.
